This is the second page I have made in showing my patriotism for our beautiful country and our President.
President Bush has caught alot of flack lately over Iraq and why we went to war there. They think there is a coverup and there never was WOMD. Well, we all know the sadistic tyrant Saddam is, not to mention his sons, why wouldn't they have WOMD? I feel when they kept stalling us, they were hiding the weapons with other anti-american countries.
But for argument's sake, let's just say there never were any WOMD. What about how the people of Iraq were treated? They were treated inhumanly, putting it mildly, and some were tortured and killed daily. Saddam is responsible for so many war crimes, if ever caught, he'll never see daylight again.
America being what she is, the land of the free, the home of the brave, not to mention compassionate, and giving. We don't like to see any country suffer. The President we have now is a christian, and maybe that's why all this makes a difference for once. I have also noticed there are alot of Iraqi people who are so ungrateful for what our men have sacrificed for them! We are losing a man a day over there. Our men and women risked and are risking their lives to free a country that was under a brutal dictatorship. You would think they would be grateful? I can understand some of them are in fear of Saddam "taking names" and coming back into power. They fear if that happened, he wouldn't hesitate to kill them plus all their families for being a " traitor" to him.
Today the pictures of Saddam's sons Uday & Qusay were televised for not only the world to see, but especially the Iraqi people, as proof of their deaths. Some are yet still skeptical and think the pictures are " doctored". Why would the United States want to "doctor " a photo to fool the Iraqi people into thinking the brothers were dead, but really were alive? I think that would be defeating our purpose??
Our men and women are sacrificing more and more the longer they are over there.
The Iraqis need to realize we do not want to take control of their country and run it.
We are just there long enough to set up a government that is appropiate for them.
Well, we as Americans have never lived under a sadistic tyrant like Saddam, except maybe for Hitler. We do have to understand their fears of consequences they "think" they are facing if we fail them and Saddam comes back into power. In their shoes, it is hard to be able to trust anyone.
Update: Thank our God and our President, Saddam has been captured!!
